If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m a huge advocate for taking care of yourself!

And I completely understand that once you have littles, it’s much more difficult to find the time to do something for you. But it’s not impossible so I encourage you to reach out to your people to help make this happen…

So friend, what brings you joy?

Here are a few things for me:

  • I love being in nature, hiking or skiing. I like to carve out 2 hours for either of those things and see who can help me out with my son.

  • Creating a spa at home. Again the time is limited, but an hour works just fine for me! First step is I remove the 100 million bath toys and whale bathmat from the tub. Then, I get the music playing, add some lavender infused epsom salts and I am good to go. I’ll have some cold lemon or cucumber water nearby and I totally feel like I’m at the spa!

  • A drive. I know that doesn’t sound like much but driving is so meditative for me. Sometimes I’ll have music going, other times not. I don’t have a destination in mind but it’s usually a scenic drive to reset.

Make that list and get to it.
